Students Are Jumping & Shooting Hoops To Save Lives�February 2010!!!

Throughout the month of February, Glenwood Intermediate School will be holding its annual �Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart� event to help the American Heart Association. All students will have fun jumping rope, playing basketball, and learning about heart disease and stroke.

Family and friends are welcome to support your child�s volunteer efforts by making contributions. Collection forms will be distributed to the students on February 5, 2010 for this purpose. Checks for all donations should be made payable to the American Heart Association and submitted by Friday, February 26^th. Students can also raise support nationwide by raising money On-Line at www.americanheart.org/hoops or www.americanheart.org/jump. Students who participate will be thanked with prizes and incentives. Please help GIS make this a great event for a great cause!
